Arriving into the Temple of Light I addressed myself directly to God and invoked Divine Love and Light. I felt filled with these divine energies, felt strengthened. I proceeded to the Turqoise Gate and there I met Charles. We walked over to the garden and sat there close together.

Brita: Tell me about yourself. What do you do these days?

Charles: Well, it’s not so easy to explain. I am learning new things.

Brita: Yeah, but what?

Charles: You would probably find it difficult to understand.

Brita: Oh, please, try to tell me. I really want to know what you DO all the time.

Charles: I am in process of transferring into a finer vibration. My whole being is changing.

Brita: Like, developing into a higher consciousness? Like, becoming angelic, or...?

Charles: You might call it that, you human beings. For me it’s like, I’m learning to function on a more subtle ray, or vibration.

Brita: When you begin to exist in this finer vibration, will you still be as we know you? Can I still call you Charles, or will you be something else or like someone else?

Charles: I can read in your mind that you are worried that you may somehow loose track of me. No, it’s not like that. You can always call me Charles. You, the rest of the family and all our friends, people who knew me when I was "on the Earth" as you say - all of you can just contact me as Charles. Even though I co-operate in group consciousness events here, I remain an individual throughout. You will not loose me. I will always be available to you, to the boys and to friends and family, as ‘Charles’.

Brita: Phew! I’m sure glad that you’re not going to disappear.

Charles: Think of a tree filled with blossom. Each individual flower will mature into a moment when one petal after another falls off, and there is something else there, a small green knob. This will in course of time grow into a fruit. You can name each flower individually and when a flower grows into a fruit, it retains the same name and individuality, even though it has evolved into something totally different.

Brita: I see. So you are becoming something totally different?

Charles: Yes, I am moving ahead fast.

Brita: How does it get decided when you transfer into a new level of consciousness? Is there a plan for your development?

Charles: There is an overall plan for my individual development and also for soul development in general. Each soul will develop naturally. When a soul is ready for change, it is guided through that change.

Brita: So, do you have guides, guardians or teachers, who guide you through these changes?

Charles: Yes.

Brita: How do they decide when a soul shall change?

Charles: Much like the fruit ripens, "organically", a soul ripens. When a soul becomes ready for a next step, the guides will, as it were, invite the soul to move forward, to go through a next step.

Brita: I see.

Now sounds around us made me loose my concentration. People were going about their daily activities outside.

Charles: Don’t go away now. Stay. Learn to hold your focus!

Brita: Oops! I very nearly lost it. Now I can’t remember what we were talking about.

I tried hard to remember our conversation. It took me a lot of effort to find my way back again.

Charles: See, I have told you before that it would be easier for you to concentrate when it is early morning and there are no sounds around you.

Brita (deep sigh): I know!

Just one more thing. I wonder if you have friends there, where you are? - you know, personal friends, not just teachers, masters or angels.

Charles: I do. I have friends who I knew far, far back, in earlier lifetimes. I have wonderful friends here, who I meet regularly.

Brita: Are you happy where you are now?

Charles: Very happy. Very, very happy. The bliss and peace here is indescribable.

Brita: I’d better go and do some painting now at the house. Will you help me to write all this down?

Charles: Yes, go ahead.

I wrote notes. I felt somehow as if the peace and bliss from where Charles is, spilled over into my life - a feeling of quiet, deep happiness and elation. I felt "high".

We rose. We embraced each other in a long hug.

Charles: Do not worry. I can see that you are anxious that my progress into a finer level may make me more distant. No it’s not like that. If anything, I’ll be even closer to you than before. I am increasing my ability to hear and see what is going on around me. Be at peace. I will continue to follow you, the boys, all the family.

We parted.

How can we get in contact with the non-physical realm?
How does it work?

1 If you want to talk to someone 'up there', first decide who you want to talk to. A safe bet is to ask to talk to your guardian angel, or to one of your guides.

2 Begin by praying to God: Ask that only that which is blessed and accepted by the very highest aspect of God, shall be given to you. This assists you in not getting caught up in a lower realm.

3 Use visualization and imagination - these are the most powerful tools you could work with. For example, you may visualize yourself going through a portal into a White Temple filled with angels; or, visualize yourself going up a set of golden stairs and arriving into a place 'up high', where you are being received by angels, or by a spiritual master, by virgin Mary or anyone who inspires you.

4 Talk to this being: Address him or her and imagine that he or she is right in front of you. When you have greeted him/her or asked a question. pause and listen. Listen as intently as if you were alone in a forest at night, and you were listening for the sound of an insect moving along a tree trunk, or the breath of a sleeping bird. Listen so intently so you have no thoughts left in your mind. Expect to hear someone speaking into your mind.

5 If you are not sure if you heard something or not, imagine what the angels would say to you if they were speaking to you. Ask a clear question, then imagine what an angel would say to you, and write it down. Write it down even if you believe these are just your own fantasies. This is practice. To develop a skill requires practice. Practice practice, every day.

6 After you have spent some effort listening and writing things down, you will probably find that the answers which appear in your mind are better than you expected. This is because those who guide us are delighted when we try to listen to them, and they don't miss this opportunity to inspire us. So SOMETHING is working! Go for it!

7 At the end of a session, visualize yourself thanking the ones you have communicated with, and then visualize yourself returning - for example, leaving the temple through the same portal as you entered through, and returning back to your chair or bed. Always create a little thanking and closing ceremony, to release yourself, and them, to other tasks.
