Recently, some family members and old friends have asked me questions about Charles' work with healing. They wanted to know how he worked. While living in USA, in the 1970s, Charles had studied reflexology and discovered that when he held a person's feet in his hands, the person felt healing energy flowing through her or his body. That was the beginning. More experiences followed, where friends told Charles that he had channeled healing energy to them. One evening Charles was enjoying bowling with his friends. However, one man was feeling quite ill and said he needed to go home and go to bed, saying he had been feeling unwell for a few days. He thought he had come down with a severe cold. This man worked in the same work place as Charles. Later that evening Charles decided to sit in meditation and conduct a healing session for his friend. Charles followed his usual procedure. He attuned to the man, and then asked to be shown what color to radiate to the man. Usually he would receive an impression of a color ray, and he would visualize sending this ray to the person. This time, as before, Charles followed his intuitive impulse and for a while he continued this distant healing session, radiating healing energy to his friend. The next day, in the work place, the man came to see Charles. He asked what Charles had been doing the night before and thanked him for sending healing. He told this story: "Last night I was feeling really ill, worse than ever. I decided to take a hot bath, thinking it would help me get better. When I was lying there, I felt I was going to die. Then, you Charles, appeared by my side, right there in the bathroom. You approached me, reached out with your hands and placed your hands above my chest. In that moment I felt a wonderful healing energy flowing into my chest, and then spreading throughout my body. The sense of relief was immense. This transmission of healing energy continued for a while. When you withdrew your hands and vanished from my bathroom, I was able to get out of the bath. I went to bed and fell into a deep, peaceful sleep. In the morning I woke up feeling well and healthy again! I know you saved my life!" As Charles some years later shared this event with me, he said, while sending healing he had not been conscious of the fact that he had appeared before his friend. However he had been aware of other beings, on the inner level, collaborating with him.   Home
